College Search Tip: Make sure to find the campus that you feel comfortable on and would want to be on for the next four years. It is important to find the college that makes you happy and can be your home away from home. Visit all of the colleges you are interested in and make your decision based on how you feel when you are at that campus. I promise it will help make your college experience so much better. Also, it is perfectly fine to not know what you want to major in, and there are plenty of campus resources to help you figure that out once you get into the school.

Fun fact about me: I have been to Italy on a Study Abroad trip and it was one of the best trips I have ever been on. I highly recommend study abroad to everyone!

What do I love most about Georgia College: It is home to me and I love being able to be a part of such a wonderful community and school. I believe I can make a difference here and truly bring a wonderful experience to each one of the students I come into contact with.

College Search Tip: Stay organized! Have a binder set up with tabs for each school you’re interested in. Put a “quick facts” sheet at the front of each tab with things like school size, distance from home, average class size, important deadlines, and helpful website links (application, financial aid, list of majors offered, admissions office contacts), what you love most about the school, and even what you don’t like about the school. Every time you get something important from a school, put it in the binder. It will help throughout the application process as well as your decision process. No matter where you end up, not only will it be fun to have that to look back on, but it’ll keep it from becoming overwhelming.

Fun fact about me: I’m no pro, but I know how to surf!

Favorite spot on campus: Einstein’s Bagels
